<p>The press frame has four vertical support beams (1-4), at the top connected to transverse beams. Plates (7,8) connected to the frame beams form the press soil chamber (9), with a division baffle plate (10). Hydraulic cylinders (13,14) operate the press plates. A reciprocating slide (28) with corrugated top (30) forms the bottom of the press chamber. This permits controlled discharge of compacted soil into a base mounted trough.</p> |
