PURPOSE:To enable to assemble the body of a motor car efficiently, by making a work deliverable to a welding jig under a state set on a setting truck. CONSTITUTION:A roof W2 is mounted between receiving edges of both side panels W3 from the upper part through a setting jig 16a of a carrying-in device 16 for the roof, and both the side panels W3 are pinched, pressed and secured to a floor W1 under this state by making a holding component to be provided on a setting jig actuate. The setting truck 1 is moved from a set position A to a welding position B, the setting truck 1 is lifted to a predetermined height through an ascending and descending pin 11 at the welding position B, a welding jig 2 is made to advance inward, the floor W1 and the side panels W3, and the roof W2 and the side panel W3 are made to clamp respectively through each of welding guns provided in the welding jig 2 and a work is delivered to the welding jig by releasing action of the holding component for the side panel on the setting truck 1. |
