<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled filter having excellent resistance to heat, solvents and light, with a dense thin film and having excellent spectral characteristics by forming a pigment layer with the pigment of a quinacridon derivative. CONSTITUTION:The pigment of the quinacridon derivative shown by the formula is coated on a substrate as the pigment layer to form the color filter formed with the pigment having excellent resistance to heat, solvents and light and having excellent spectral characteristics. The pigment of the quinacridon derivative is not decomposed on heating and sublimes easily at a temp. above the specified temp. Since the pigment layer can be formed by vacuum deposition, an inexpensive color filter is obtained. Furthermore, the pigment film is an extremely dense film and the adhesion with an inorg. material such as a glass substrate is excellent.</p> |
