PURPOSE:To make its constitution simple and small in size, by separating respective bender blocks from each other at both ends of work rolls and connecting them to each other in the direction of the work roll axes through the work rolls, and connecting the blocks at one side to respective driving parts for shifting. CONSTITUTION:In a rolling mill for regulating a rolling shape, work rolls 1, 2 are shifted in the direction of their axes together with bender blocks 8, 9, 15, 16 used for providing bending forces and supporting the rolls 1, 2 respectively. Respective blocks 8, 9, 15, 16 are separated from each other at both ends of the rolls 1, 2 and are connected to each other through the rolls 1, 2 respectively, and the blocks at one side are connected respectively to driving parts 10, 11 for shifting. Thus the interferences of respective blocks 8, 9, 15, 16 with mill guides, etc. disposed to the front and rear sides of the rolls 1, 2 are prevented, and the shifting operation is surely performed through the rolls 1, 2 and respective blocks. |
