PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature magnetic roll having high performance by magnetizing only a part of a cylindrical rubber magnet body in such orientation that produces the magnetic anisotropy in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:Only a part of a cylindrical rubber magnetic body 10 of a magnetic roll is orientated so as to produce the magnetic anisotropy in the circumferential direction as shown by dotted lines. The area having the magnetic anisotropy is set opposite to a photosensitive drum of a copying machine when the body 10 is used as a magnetic roll. Then the orientated part of the body 10 is magnetized so that an asymmetric magnetic pole is formed on the circumferential surface of the body 10. A shaft 13 is set into a center hole 12 of a cylindrical rubber magnet 11 which forms said asymmetric magnetic pole. Thus it is possible to obtain a miniature magnetic roll having high performance. |
