PURPOSE:To prevent foreign matter from entering into a shaft bearing device used in a truck of a train or the like by disposing a cylindrical closing member made of porous elastic material between an open end of a cylinder portion of an outer member and the inside of a spring seat of an inner member in such a manner as to be axially compressed. CONSTITUTION:An outer member 31 comprises a cylindrical head portion 311 of an upper end opening and a spring seat 312 mounted on the outer peripheral portion of the head portion 311 to be integral therewith. An inner member 32 comprises a cylindrical projection 321 inserted in the head portion 311 and a flange-like spring seat 322 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the upper portion of the projection. A sliding member 33 which is formed of a resin excellent in a sliding characteristic like polyacetal and comprises a ring-shaped sliding member 331 and a cylindrical buffer 332 is inserted into the outer member 31. A shaft spring 34 is interposed between the spring seats 322, 312 of the inner and outer members 32, 31 and a closing member 35 having a cylindrical body 351 made of soft urethane foam is interposed in a compression manner between both members 32, 31. |
