PURPOSE:To make sheets of succeeding paper stackable without disarranging the already stacked sheets of paper, by installing a paper keeper operating so as to pressing force at a time when the paper hits a contact plate. CONSTITUTION:When a front end of paper 20a passes through both upper and lower surfaces of discharge roller 10, a push roller 11 goes up, and simultaneously with this movements, a tip of a paper keeper 12 goes down with operation of a solenoid 19 and presses an end of one side of the paper groups 20 so far stacked from the upside. And, when a rear end of the paper 20a passes through the discharge roller 10 and is discharged onto an intermediate tray 9, the push roller 11 goes down, contacting the paper 20a, and it operates so as to feed the paper 20a frontward. Simultaneously with a descent of the push roller 11, the tip of the paper keeper 12 turns upward by operation of a solenoid 19 so as not to prevent forward movement of the paper. Therefore, the paper hits a contact plate 13 and is stacked. Likewise, when the succeeding paper has arrived and passes through space between upper and lower parts of the discharge roller 10, the same operation is repeated, thus the paper is stacked on the intermediate tray 9 over and over again. |
