<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate controlling the supply amount of air, while enhancing the capability of treatment, by forming a bottom chamber below the bottom wall of a water channel at the upper stream side of a current intercepting wall, and opening said bottom chamber to the bottom wall of said water channel at the downstream side of the current intercepting wall. CONSTITUTION:An impeller 16 is rotated by driving a motor 31, and air is ejected through a sparger opening 43 by driving a compressor 44. Hence, a liquid mixture at the upper stream side of a current intercepting wall 5 is let flow-in through the upper part of an inflow cone 35, forcibly sent under a condition mixed with gas bubbles through an inflow pipe 14 to a bottom chamber 12 therebelow, raised along a guide wall 13 and sent to the downstream side of the current intercepting wall 5. Thus, the liquid mixture in the water channel 1 is fluidizedly circulated counterclockwise along the water channel 1. Since the forcibly sent liquid mixture is sent to the bottom of the water channel 1, any large difference is not formed between the flow speeds of the liquid mixture at the surface layer of the water channel 1 and the one at the bottom layer. Consequently, the depth of water in the water channel 1 can be made larger.</p> |
