发明名称 OXYGEN ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the taking-in capacity of oxygen as well as to secure such an electrode as being excellent in points of high output density and lasting quality, among others, by making polyorganosiloxane stick to a surface which comes in contact with oxygen gas. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen electrode is formed in a way of laminating a water- repellent layer consisting of a porous fluorocarbon resin film carrying polyorganosiloxane as a surface layer which contacts oxygen content gas and an electrode active layer consisting of a catalyzer, carbon and fluorocarbon resin. For example, aqueous paste made by mixing and kneading carbon, the catalyzer and fluorocarbon resin powder is applied to one side of the porous fluorocarbon resin as thick as 1-1,000mg/cm<2> uniformly, and on a surface of the opposite side to the electrode active layer of the oxygen electrode being produced by means of heat treatment in a temperature of 100-400 deg.C, a layer of 0.1-100mu in thickness is formed up with a polyorganosiloxane film coated by means of a pressure-sticking process.
