PURPOSE:To easily obtain a speaker diaphragm having uniformly mixed fiber by using a raw material formed by mixing a synthetic resin fiber having a low fusion point with another fiber which never fuses at least at the fusion point to form low-fusion-point resin by heating and fusing. CONSTITUTION:The raw material 14 made by mixing the synthetic resin fiber having the low fusion point with the synthetic resin fiber having a high fusion point at a specific ratio is cut to specific size; and the cut material is mounted on a bottom die 21 and its circumferential part is pressed against the bottom die 19 by a presser frame 20. Then, a top die 21 is lowered to compress the raw material 11 between both dies under specific pressure and both dies are heated by a heater provided inside or on a forming surface to start fusing the raw material 14. Then, the fiber which does not fuse is sandwiched between the dies 19 and 21 and stays at its position, and the fusing synthetic resin becomes liquid and flows adequately to spread in the whole gap between the dies. Consequently, the fibers are present almost uniformly over the entire area to easily form the diaphragm which is different in thickness at a center cylinder part 15, body part 16, edge part 17, and flange part 18. |
