<p>PURPOSE:A polyester container, consisting of a polyester consisting of ethylene terephthalate as main repeating units, and having the outer surface thereof crystallized over a specific thickness and high-degree gas barrier properties. CONSTITUTION:A polyester container obtained by subjecting a lower alkyl ester of terephthalic acid, etc. and ethylene glycol to the ester interchange, polycondensing the resultant product under reduced pressure to give a polyester, injection molding the polyester to afford a preform, hot-drawing and blow molding the preform into a biaxially drawn blow molded container, crystallizing the outer surface of the above-mentioned polyester container in heated steam, etc., and adjusting the thickness of the crystallized part to 10-100mum.</p> |
