Device intended to determine whether a credit may or may not be granted by a lending body. The grant is subjected to a certain number of conditions to each of which is assigned a number, the credit request being favourably received if the sum of all these numbers exceeds a predetermined threshold. The device comprises a sheath 40 on one of the faces 42 of which are two tables 45, 46 each with two input series. Each input series corresponds to the various possible states of a condition and the inscriptions borne in their boxes represent, in encrypted form, the sum of the numbers corresponding to the two states which this box represents. The sheath 40 also has windows 50, 51, 52 one of which 50 allows an input series of a third table to appear, with two input series which is found on a sheet 41 sliding inside the sheath and which comprises a number of columns and lines equal to the number of boxes of the first and of the second table respectively. Each box of this third table contains the number, in clear, representing the sum of the four condition states to which this box corresponds. The other windows 51, 52 are intended to allow the boxes of the third table to appear. <IMAGE>
