摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a sliding contact material using oxides which are produced during sliding as a lubricant and having improved wear resistance by adding small amounts of one or more among Sb, Te, Mo, Pb, Se, As and Zn and an Fe group metal to a Pd-Ru alloy having a specified composition. CONSTITUTION:This sliding contact material is obtd. by adding 0.5-10wt% one or more among Sb, Te, Mo, Pb, Se, As and Zn to an alloy material consisting of 87-93wt% Pd and 7-13wt% Ru without changing the ratio in the composition or by further adding 0.01-0.5wt% Fe group metal such as Ni. Oxides of one or more among Sb, Te, Mo, Pb, Se, As and Zn are produced in the sliding contact material during sliding, and the oxides act as a lubricant to improve the wear resistance. The contact material produces little powder owing to wear and hardly generates noise, so a brush contact having stable and low contact resistance can be obtd.
