The subject of the invention is a variety of ranunculus. It has been obtained by isolating a mutant bud of the "fièvre" variety, with red flowers; it has thin, slender and vertical vegetation (habit), bearing flowers at the top of flower stems and accompanied by secondary flower buds borne by long peduncles inserted on the highest nodes of the flower stems; it produces flowers of good size, with a uniform round corolla and with concave central petals which are curved over the centre of the flower; general colour of the flower: white tinged with purple on the petal borders. The invention applies to ranunculus flowers.
