The base part (1-5), which is intended to be placed on the ground, of the stand has at the ends of telescopic arms (3, 4, 5) in each case a plurality of guide bores (12, 12a, 12b, 13, 13a, 13b) for accommodating fastening nails or fastening screws. The guide bores are inclined by 20 to 30 DEG with respect to the vertical towards the base part and/or the ground in such a way that the axes of the guide bores converge downwards and/or towards the middle of the base part. The stand is fastened to the ground, e.g. on a tar coating or the earth, by means of nails or screws which are driven through the guide bores (12, 12a, 12b, 13, 13a, 13b) at the corresponding inclinations. Reliable fastening is achieved in this manner without the base part having to be very heavy or having to be secured by means of weights. A ball-and-socket joint with a ball (17) which can be pivoted on all sides and can be fastened in any set position is mounted on the base part (1-5). A bore (16) in the ball (17) accommodates a supporting rod of a traffic guiding element, e.g. a signal board, and holds it fast in a chuck-like manner. <IMAGE> |
