PURPOSE:To reduce the period of time required for recording on multiple sheets of paper, by supplying an ink onto a recording paper through recording holes in the condition wherein an original plate for each color provided with recording holes by a recording output member and the recording paper are in a pressure contact condition. CONSTITUTION:When setting of the original plate to rollers 7C, 7M, 7Y is completed, a paper supplying and feeding belt 16 is driven to pass the recording paper 18 on the lower side of the rollers 7C, 7M, 7Y. In this case, the rollers 7Y, 7M, 7C are sequentially lowered in accordance with detection of the leading end of the paper 8, and are rotated by being brought into pressure contact with the belt 16. Under this pressure contact condition, an ink carrier by an ink-supplying roller 13 is supplied onto the paper 18 through an ink-supplying roller 14, a mesh 9 and the recording holes provided in the original plate, thereby printing. These operations are conducted by using three kinds of original plates for a single sheet of recording paper 18, thereby achieving color recording. |
