A device for simultaneously observing an optical-fibre coupling point from two different directions of view in a microscope consists of a shaped (formed) member having a plurality of reflecting (mirror) surfaces. These reflecting surfaces are arranged and aligned such that the beam paths assigned to the two different directions of view are reflected and deflected at the mirrors in such a way that they have paths of equal length from the splice point up to the microscope objective.
