The invention relates to a roll with a filling, especially a baguette roll, and a method and a device for production thereof. The roll has a longitudinal bore, which preferably passes all the way through it, is mechanically produced and is filled with a filling of meat or the like which is also mechanically inserted. Preparation of the roll is completed immediately before consumption, especially by means of hot air. In order to produce filled rolls according to the invention, a device is provided which has a conveying element with reception devices for the rolls to be filled, and an insertion station, a preboring station, a final boring station, a filling station and a removal station with feeding and discharging apparatuses and manipulation devices. |
