Use of rubber granules

In the case of rubber granules such as are produced, for example, in the comminution of scrap rubber, scrap tyres or the like, it is proposed to use said granules as a means for acoustic and/or heat insulation and/or heat storage. Construction elements, and in particular sandwich construction elements, are proposed in which an intermediate layer (3) of rubber granules is formed between the panels (1, 2).
