PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for assembling parts and mold impregnable parts easily on a mass production basis by a method in which a given width of skin layer is formed on the end face of an expanded synthetic resin base plate and an impregnating face is provided at the cut end face of a molded part. CONSTITUTION:A heat is applied to both ends or one side of an expanded synthetic resin base plate 1 of expanded polyethylene, rigid polyurethane, etc., to form a skin layer 2 to prevent the leak of an impregnating liquid, etc., to the surface of the base plate 1. The base plate 1 is punched out of the skin layer 2 face to obtain an objective impregnated product (a). Since the impregnated product (a) obtained from the skin layer 2 formation process and the cutting shape-retention process has only its cut end face as an impregnating face 3, the leak of impregnating liquids from the end faces other than the impregnating end face 3 can be prevented. |
