A measuring machine for measuring cylindrical and semi-cylindrical workpieces such as thin-walled sliding bearings and for measuring the circumferential length, the outside diameter and the oblique position of partial surfaces on semi-cylindrical workpieces, is to be used, in accordance with test method A according to draft DIN 31672 according to DIN 1494, part 2, and test method A and B in accordance with draft DIN-ISO 6524, for all measurements, undertaken on thin-walled, cylindrical and semi-cylindrical workpieces, of the outside diameter or circumferential length and of the oblique position of partial surfaces by simple retrofitting of the measuring receptacles and measuring heads while preserving the fundamental design of the measuring machine with regard to the base of the guide frame of the display devices and to the transmission of the test force.
