PURPOSE:To enable to control variations of physical quantities, by a method wherein a signal having a power spectrum reversely proportional to frequency is generated, and power range and frequency range of variation in the spectrum are manually or automatically set in a separate or interlocked manner. CONSTITUTION:When air conditioning is started, room air is sucked in through an intake port 4, is passed through a heat exchanger 2, and is blown off into a room through a blow-off port 5. At this time, by a variation having a power spectrum of 1/f generated by a signal-generating circuit 7, a blower-controlling circuit 12 controls the rotating speed of a blower 3 to cause the power spectrum of variation in air flow to be proportional to 1/f. In this case, the signal of 1/f power spectrum generated by the circuit 7 is regulated in power range and frequency range by values previously set on manual setting circuits 10, 11 in accordance with an amplifying circuit 8 and a converting circuit 9. Accordingly, air flows are prevented from constantly colliding against human bodies, and the feeling of a cold air flow can be eliminated. |
