PURPOSE:To obtain gross sales data in each prescribe period such as a day by erasing the contents of a total memory after trnsferring the contents of the total memory to an auxiliary total memory if the contents of the auxiliary total memory have been already transmitted at the time of adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A CPU2 transmits/receives data to/from a gross sales memory 3 storing gross sales data in each section or each transaction which is composed of an RAM, totals the contents of the memory 3 and transfers the gross sales data read out from the memory 3 to the auxiliary total memory 4a in an RAM4. The RAM4 has a flag register F storing flag data indicating the status that the data in the memory 4a have been already transmitted or not. If the contents of the total memory have been already transmitted at the time of adjustment from the contents of the register F, the contents of the memory 3 are erased after transferring the contents of the total memory to the memory 4a. |
