PURPOSE:To obtain a saddle welder capable of performing better welding operation by an easier operation all the time by controlling displaying and sounding relating to the processes through a timer and necessary clamping, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a thermoplastic synthetic resin tube is allowed to come near the saddle of a thermoplastic synthetic resin, and pressingly contacted with a heater at a set pressure, a switch 31 turns ON, the timer 35 of a controller 34 is actuated, and a display lamp 38 is lighted to display a heating process. From a fixed time period before the ending of the heating process, a buzzer 41 is intermittently operated to notify the next heater removal process. As the heating process is ended, the lamp 38 is turned off, and a buzzer 42 is continuously operated during the period until the next welding process to notify the heater removal process. If the heater is not removed during the time period, the solenoid 27 is demagnetized, a given clamping is made, and the execution of the next welding process is interrupted. Even for the following welding and cooling processes, better welding operation can be made by an easier operation all the time in the same manner by the saddle welder. |
