A circuit arrangement for testing multi-pin earthing sockets quickly for missing and/or reversed connections should require neither an external auxiliary potential nor intervention by the operator. This is achieved by a circuit arrangement in which the connecting points (1, 2, 3) to be connected to the outer conductors (L1, L2, L3) of the three-phase alternating-current system to be tested are conducted, with interposition of one diode each (4, 5, 6), to a neutral point which forms the starting point for two voltage dividers and a voltage indicator, one voltage divider of which is conducted with a first divider resistor (7) and a second divider resistor (8) via a diode (9) to a connecting point (1) for the centre or neutral conductor (N), the other voltage divider of which is conducted with a first divider resistor (11) and a second divider resistor (12) via a diode (13) to a connecting point (14) for the protective earth conductor (PE) and the voltage indicator comprising a resistor (15) and an indicator (16) is conducted via one diode each (17, 18) to both connecting points (10, 14), and in which the points between the in each case first and second divider resistors (7, 8 and respectively 11, 12) form a bridge for two error indicator circuits with opposite allocation. <IMAGE>
