The invention relates to a pallet device for transporting goods. To save costs and achieve simple handling, it is distinguished by a pallet strap which is sufficiently rigid only in the transverse direction, but is flexible in the longitudinal direction and can be supported on a longitudinally rigid base, namely, for example, on a floor surface (2) of a store room or the like, on carrying bars of a transporting vehicle or the like or on lifting bars of a transfer frame or the like over its entire length.
