In a hatch cover for combat vehicles for the opening and closing or locking of vehicle orifices, its mounting consists of a lifting, pivoting and locking unit which is fastened adjustably to the vehicle wall by means of a retention and in which is mounted a pivoting shaft connected to the hatch cover. In order to reduce the outlay in terms of adjustment in the fastening of the lifting, pivoting and locking unit to the vehicle and in order to guarantee a sufficient service life of the hatch-cover mounting in terms of its suitability for underwater use and its gas tightness, an articulated coupling element is arranged between the pivoting shaft and the hatch cover. <IMAGE>
