摘要 PURPOSE:To control an automatic travelling device fitted to a car by an electric signal, to operate the deviation of distance patterns and to perform control at a branch point precisely by fitting an image pickup tube close to a floating wheel of a sliding arm and detecting reflected light from a guiding band formed on a floor surface by the image pickup tube. CONSTITUTION:The image pickup tube 3 detecting the reflected light from the guiding band 2 by a reflecting body laid on the floor surface is fitted to a lift truck 1. The image pickup tube 3 is fitted to the truck 1 close to the floating wheel 8 of the sliding arm 9 and a controlling device 5 controlling the automatic travelling device 4 is fitted to the truck 1. In addition, a travelling distance detector 6 and a speed detector 7 are fitted to the truck 1. The 1st and 2nd mirrors M1, M2 are arranged on the front of the image pickup tube 3 to use the respective mirrors M1, M2 as reflecting tools. Thus, control at the branch point is made easily by obtaining long and short distance vidual information through the mirrors M1, M2.
