PURPOSE:To prevent internal structures of ejecting passages and a cooling pipe from being damaged, eliminate partial flow to thereby enhance a diffusion effect and contrive to enhance condensing efficiency, by a method wherein a perforated double-cylinder energy damper is provided, bypass steam is decompressed, and is diffusingly ejected. CONSTITUTION:In a condenser, a turbine bypass steam is introduced into an introducing pipe 1 for the steam, is ejected into an outer cylinder 3 while being decompressed through ejecting perforations 2, is further decompressed by ejecting perforations 4, and is diffusingly discharged into the condenser. The perforations 2 and the perforations 4 are arranged in staggered forms, the diameter thereof may be so selected that the energy of the steam discharged from the cylinder 3 becomes appropriate or that the pressure reduction ratio becomes not higher than about 1/4. As a result, the ejection energy is reduced in proportion to the pressure reduction ratio, so that the area of the flow region of the bypass steam is reduced in reverse proportion to the square of the ratio. Accordingly, pressure is reduced effectively, diffusive discharge of the steam is facilitated, and damage of the internal structures of the condenser is reduced. |
