PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of address information necessary for processing graphic position by providing a reference position indicated by an absolute address and displaying an image address on the periphery of a graphic in the form of a relative address to the reference position. CONSTITUTION:By correlating the coordinate of a digitizer 20 to the coordinate of an output drum 30, the coordinate of the digitizer 20 can be converted into the coordinate of the output drum 30. When the output size on the output drum 30 is indicated by a console 50 under this condition, an output size frame converted at an appropriate ratio is displayed on a graphic display 52. When a graphic code (rectangular, circular, etc.) and a necessary coordinate point are inputted by the digitizer 20 as a block copy graphic thereafter, the above mentioned coordinate conversion and power conversion for displaying on the display 52 and so forth are calculated in the computer 51 and a graphic is displayed on an indicated position of the display 52 with an indicated size. When such arrangement is made, the quantity of address information required for processing graphic can be reduced. |
