PURPOSE:To improve convenience of using an air conditioning device for a car in a dual type air conditioning device by providing a manual and automatic switching air flow rate control switch in front and rear seats independently of each air conditioning unit and controlling air flow rate depending upon the request of a main unit at automatic switching. CONSTITUTION:A front air conditioner 1 serving as a main air conditioning unit and a rear air conditioner serving as a sub air conditioning unit can independently be switched manually in a number of steps respectively by means of respective front fan switch 3 and a rear fan switch, and also switched in automatic control. In addition, coolant is circulated to the evaporators of the front and rear air conditioners 1 and 2 by a common compressor and the coolant into the rear unit is controlled by a solenoid valve 6. Then in the case of automatic switching, the air blow rate of the air conditioning unit 1 or 2 at the side switched by an electric circuit is automatically controlled by the request of the front air conditioner 1. As a result of this structure, convenience of using an air conditioning device for a car can be improved. |
