PURPOSE:To reduce Q of the modulation circuit and to attain improvement of the output fluctuation and the modulation linearity at the time of modulation, by mounting the disk part having fully larger diameter than that of the post part, at the tip of the post part, in the waveguide type FM oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The disk part 12 consisting of a conductor is mounted at the tip of the conductor post part which is installed at the tip of the cylindrical part 12 consisting of a conductor. The diode for oscillation 8 is oscillated in the frequency which is decided under the circuit condition that the bias has been provided so that the end of the post part 6 and the side of the waveguide 1 can be ''+'' and ''-'', respectively. As for the diode 9 for modulation, too, the bias is provided so that the side of the disk part 12 and the side of the waveguide 1 can be ''+'' and ''-'', respectively, in the same way, and its capacity value is varied in accordance with the bias voltage. Thus not only the frequency can be modulated by changing the oscillation frequency, but also the improvement of the output fluctuation and the modulation linearity at the time of modulation. |
