PURPOSE:To provide an electric discharge recording type serial printer enabled to change resolution, wherein the direction of arrangement of electrode needles in a head is made to be variable with respect to a scanning direction of the head, and the spacing between dots being recorded is varied. CONSTITUTION:The direction of arrangement of the electrode needles 101, 201 provided in an electric discharge recording head is made to be variable with respect to the scanning direction 104, 203 of the head. If required, feed quantity of a recording paper 102 is made to be variable, and a signal-impressing speed is also made to be variable. |
