PURPOSE:To reduce required tensile force generated due to reversible operation of a conveyor by installing a gravity type tension device in front and rear of a driving wheel of a belt conveyor. CONSTITUTION:Take-up weights 11, 12 are provided in front and rear of a driving wheel 10 of a boom belt conveyor 3. The take-up weight 12 is operated on the belt of the conveyor 3 as slackness side tension during stacking. Though the take-up 11 is held upward at this time, it is stopped by means of a stopper. During reclaiming, the take-up 11 is operated on the belt of the conveyor 3, while the take-up 12 is stopped at its highest limit by means of the stopper. Thus, not only the gravity type belt tension device can be reduced in weight but also the moment of the boom is diminished so that the stacker/reclaimer may be reduced in weight. |
