PURPOSE:To obtain a ferrule small in eccentricity of a fine round hole by forming a core pin for forming a round hole for inserting an optical fiber, core, on a mobile mold. CONSTITUTION:A core pin P made of a tungsten wire or the like is inserted into the through-hole bored through the pin holder HD of the main body of a mobile mold MB and stuck. This mold and a stationary mold S are set so as to align the guide pin GP of the mobile mold MB with the central axis of the guide pin inserting hole GH of the mold S, and molten plastic is injected through a sprue of the mold S and hardened. As a result, a ferrule having a fine hole small in eccentricity is obtained. |
