PURPOSE:To prevent excessive electrolyte from flowing into a gas flow path section or from being collected in a manifold by providing in form of a projection a receiver that receives the excessive electrolyte at the side of a laminated body consisting of a number of single cells and gas separation plates piled up alternately. CONSTITUTION:When the electrolytic matrixes are impregnated with the electrolyte during or after single cells 4, gas separation plates 5, and sealing materials 6 are piled up or even when the electrolyte flows in the initial stage of operation, since a receiver that receives the excessive electrolyte is provided in form of a projection at the side of a laminated body, the excessive electrolyte is prevented from flowing into the recess 2 of a rugged gas flow path section and from being collected in a manifold. |
