PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible waveguide whose reflecting loss is reduced by coating the inside and the end parts of a cylindrical base tube made of a resin by a metallic layer and providing grooves on an outer circumference becoming a crooked part. CONSTITUTION:The base tube 5 is formed of a hollow body made of polytrifluoroethylene, nylon resin or the like having excellent elasticity and high stability in dimension and taking the size of a guide path 2 and the thickness of the metallic layer 4 into account, and the waveguide being a radio wave carrying path is constituted by coating integrally a prescribed part at the inside and the end parts of the base tube 5 with the metallic layer 4 made of copper, gold or the like rich in the malleability. Further, the grooves 6 possible for increasing the flexibility are provided on the outer circumference near the crooked part of the base tube 5 and a flange 1 is fixed by a low temperature solder or a conductive adhesives or the like. |
