The invention relates to a rotary type motor using solar heat as energy source. It calls upon the property of certain bodies of losing their magnetisation above a certain temperature. It comprises a magnetised toric flywheel of ferromagnetic material, which can move about an axis 2, a powerful fixed magnet 3, and an optical system enabling the solar rays to be concentrated at precise points of the toric bar. Among the applications of this motor, at low and medium power, can be cited hydraulic pumps and portable electricity generators. <IMAGE>
