a. Device for fixing a plate or another accessory part to an upright or the like, which has to serve as a support for it, by means of a collar able to be engaged around this upright and of a tightening part intended to cause pressure on the latter. b. The tightening part provided in the present device takes the form of an U-shaped stand 2 whose lateral branches 5 are engaged in openings 4 made in the fixing collar 1 in order to cause pressure, by their ends, on the corresponding upright 12. The median branch 6 of this stand 2 is intended to be placed against a bearing element 14 provided on the plate 11 or other piece to be fixed in place. The tightening, as well as the mounting of the assembly, are ensured by a single bolt 8 and a nut 18 tightening between them the fixing collar 1 and the bearing element 14 provided on the part 11 to be fixed. Thus screwing this nut ensures the wedging of the upright 12 between the fixing collar 1 and the tightening stand 2. c. The present device can be used for fixing the plates of a shelf unit to the uprights of the latter. <IMAGE>
