发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF FUEL BATTERY ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a fuel battery electrode which can be quickly and uniformly heat processed and shows less deterioration of catalyst by conducting heat processing of catalyst layer with laser irradiation under the inactive gas ambient. CONSTITUTION:The electrode 7 where the catalyst layer 2 is formed on the electrode base material 1 is placed on the X-Y table 8. The laser beam 6 generated by the laser oscillator 3 is turned by a bend mirror 4 and a beam diameter is adjusted by a condenser lens. The surface temperature of electrode 7 is set to 300-400 deg.C by adjusting an output of laser oscillator 3 and a beam diameter. With control of X-Y table 8 and laser oscillator 3 by an NC machine 9, the laser beam 6 scans the electrode 7 for the heat processing. A gas jet nozzle 10 is provided for adjusting the ambient during heat processing. Oxidation of catalyst can be prevented by introducing inactive gas ambient using the nitrogen gas.
