PURPOSE:To convert easily the period unit of input values and easily to correct an incorrect input during the unit period by providing a financial calculation type electronic calculator with kind deciding means of an interest rate key and a period key in the unit period respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a numeral 7 is inputted from a keyboard if 7.5% annual interest is to be converted into monthly interest in the financial calculation type electronic calculator, a registering number 7 is stored in an entry register ER at a step 7 through steps S2, S4, S5 and similarly 5 is also stored. When an (i) key, an interest rate key, is depressed, the program goes to steps S10, S11 through steps S1, S2, S4 because of a financial (financial processing) mode. Since a bit 8 is set up by the initial depression of the (i) key after registration, the program goes to steps S13, S14, S15. When the (i) key is depressed again, the contents of an RAM are turned to 9, the program goes to a step S18 and the annual rate is converted into a monthly rate. When the (i) key is depressed again, the program goes to a step S20 and the original status is restored, so that the incorrect input of a period is easily corrected. |
