PURPOSE:To provide a battery having stable performance by preventing missing or crack when a cylindrical black mix which forms positive terminal of alkali manganese battery, mercury battery, oxide silver battery, etc. is pressurizingly molded and equally distributing density of black mix. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical black mix 3b having tapered internal and external surfaces is inserted with the external surface in smaller diameter located at the bottom side of battery case 4. Another black mix 3a is also inserted opposingly to 3b, namely the external surface in larger diameter is located at the bottom side of case 4, as shwon in A. In this condition, the center pin 2 is inserted to the internal side of black mixes 3a, 3b and the pressurized molding is carried out as shown in B by pressing a pressor 1 in the form of sleeve from the end surface at the upper part of black mix. In this case, since a pressure applied on the black mixes 3a, 3b adequately distributed and works uniformly, fluctuation in density of black mix remolded by pressure in the case 4 is reduced and almost uniform density is kept at the the upper, intermediate and lower portions of black mix. |
