PURPOSE:To improve the manual operability by providing a control means for making an electrical-mechanical energy transducing means generate a standing oscillatory wave in accordance with turn-on of a power source switch, and making this transducing means generate a travelling vibration frequency in accordance with a lens driving start signal. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 34 for an automatic focus is connected to a range finding circuit 35 by an electric charge coupled element, etc., an output terminal A of the circuit 35 outputs driving/stop signals of high/low levels to an oscillatory wave motor, an output terminal B outputs a closest side driving direction signal of a high level or an infinity side driving direction signal of a low level, and a switching signal is inputted to an input terminal C from an electrical/manual switching circuit 36 in order to change the focusing area width of the range finding circuit 35 at the electrical time and the manual time. A moving extent monitor signal is inputted to an input terminal D through a chattering absorbing circuit 39 from a monitor signal generating circuit 38, and the switching signal of the electrical/manual switching circuit 36 is sent to OR gates 40, 52, as well. |
