The energising method provides a first energising circuit, to couple DC electrical energy to the inductive load, comprising a first transistor, a first diode coupled in parallel across and oppositely poled from the first transistor. The first circuit is coupled to the load and a source of energy, coupled to an energy store. A second circuit includes a second transistor and a second diode operatively coupled in parallel across and oppositely poled from the second transmittor. The first transistor is rendered conductive to couple one side of the DC energy to the inductive load, while maintaining the second transmitter non-conductive. The first transistor is rendered non-conductive and energisation of the inductive load by the energy store is continued. |
