PURPOSE:To make the descending strokes uniform by a method wherein each bonding tool is moved on the same horizontal plane by adjusting the height of a placing stand. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 9 is moved to the point located directly below a capillary 1 by moving an X-Y stand 6 horizontally, a placing stand 8 is moved up by operating a vertical movement device 7, the pellet 9 is moved to the prescribed junction position B, the capillary 1 comes down, a junction work is performed, and the stand 6 is restored. The stand 6 is moved, a lead 10 is shifted to the point located directly below the capillary 1, the lead 10 and a junction position 8 are coincided by lowering 7 the stand 8 in the amount of lead height, and the lead 10 is joined together by lowering the capillary. According to this constitution, the strokes of the capillary can be made uniform irrespective of the height of each junction part, thereby enabling to perform the pellet junction work easily. |
