Process for sinking a well in various geological conditions utilising an appts. equipped with at least one drilling tool disposed in satellite and driven in rotation by a motor or turbine, opt. suspended from a string of shafts, which by opt. rotation, driven from the surface, drives the assembly of the appts. to sweep in a planetary movement, the cutting face of the well and the well walls around the circumference in which is inscribed the envelope of the trajectories of each of the cutting edges of the drilling tools. - Specifically the axis of rotation of each of the tools is inclined w.r.t. a longitudinal plane passing through the centre of rotation of the tool and through the longitudinal axis of the well. - The drilling cutters exhibit a longer working life than the embossed trepanning tools of prior art.(0/8)
