摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the driving stability of a metallic vapor deposition tape in particular and to reduce the dynamic frictional force to avoid a tape squeaking phenomenon, by forming a layer composed of fluoroplastic as a main component on the surface of a molded member (tape guide, etc.) having a rubbing surface with a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The polytetrafluoroethylene is coated with proper thickness on the surface of a molded member 7 having a rubber surface with a magnetic tape such as a tape guide, etc. of a cassette case. Otherwise the polytetrafluoroethylene itself is molded to obtain a member 9. When the magnetic tape is driven with a contact secured between the surface of the member 7 or 9 and the magnetic layer of the magnetic tape, an extremely thin polytetrfluoroethylene film is formed on the magnetic layer. As a result, the sticking and slipping phenomena are reduced to reduce the dynamic frictional force. This improves the driving stability of a tape having a metallic vapor deposition magnetic layer in particular. Thus a tape squeaking phenomenon is avoided.
