摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and improve the reliability, by detecting the operation state of a chopper by the output of an infrared sensor. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic range with an infrared sensor, a pyroelectric infrared sensor 1 is provided on the rear side of the ceiling face of a heating chamber, and the light receiving face faces food 2 to be cooked. A chopper 3 is attached to the revolving shaft of a motor 4 and is rotated to interrupt infrared rays which are irradiated from food 2 to be cooked to the infrared sensor 1. The signal whose level is changed in accordance with the difference between the temperature of food 2 to be cooked and that of the chopper 3 is outputted from the infrared sensor 1 and is amplified in an amplifying circuit 5 and is rectified in a rectifying circuit 6 and is supplied to a main control part 7. A chopper driving circuit 8 drives the motor 4 in accordance with the command from the main control part 7. The abnormality of the chopper 3 is detected by the output of the infrared sensor and is reported with a buzzer 11.
