PURPOSE:To make a boosting device independent from a master cylinder so that the boosting device itself alone may be tested, by preventing block members fitted in both control and power cylinders, from coming off, with the use of a retaining plate secured to the front face of both control cylinder and master cylinder with bolts. CONSTITUTION:A boosting device is provided with a control cylinder 3 having a slide control valve 2 slidably fitted in a body 1 and a power cylinder 5 having a power output piston 4 slidably fitted in thd body 1, which are arranged, vertically in parallel with each other. In this arrangement, a retaining plate 45 for preventing block members 20, 26 fitted in the front end openings of both cylinders 3, 5, from coming off, is abutted against the front end face of an integral flange 44 which is integrally formed with the periphery of the front end openings of both cylinders 3, 5, projectingly therefrom. This retaining plate 45 is secured to the flange 44 with bolts 461.... Further, a master cylinder M is coupled to the boosting device by means of two bolts 462 which are arranged on the flange 44 so that the bolts 462 pierce through the retaining plate 35 and project forward. |
