PURPOSE:To provide a ball valve and a thermostatic valve using a valve and valve seat in common for simplifying a piping by using a valve ball and the valve seat for the valve and valve seat of the thermostatic valve. CONSTITUTION:A valve ball 9 is set to a valve opening position shown by a in the production of a great amount of low temperature condensation at start or the like. A bimetal laiminated body 22 contracts in the laminar direction, and a support member 15 together with an annular valve seat 20 is moved toward an inlet 5 by the elastic force of a spring 21 to open a through hole 24 and drain the condensation from a valve hole 9 and the through hole 24. In the completion of the low temperature condensation drainage, a valve stem 25 is rotated to set the valve ball 9 to the valve closing position shown by b. A bimetal laminated body 22 bends in response to change in the condensation temperature, the bending degree of said body 22 being small when said temperature is lower than a set temperature. Then the valve ball 9 is spaced from the valve seat 20 so that the condensation is drained through the through hole 24. When the condensation temperature is higher than the set one, the bending degree of said bimetal laminated body 22 becomes larger so that the valve ball 9 bears against the valve seat 20 to close the through hole 24. |
